We are a non-profit volunteer-based organization with a mandate of educating home gardeners. Our focus is on sharing unbiased information about ecological growing practices. We can teach you about horticulture and assist you in finding information that’s appropriate for our zone and growing conditions. Our History

The Master Gardener program began in Canada from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs. They reviewed ways of using volunteers to provide horticultural information to the public. In 1985 London was chosen as one of the pilot programs for Ontario Master Gardeners.
